Andrew landed a nice black grouper but it was just undersized and released. It was clear to me that Andrew was not only extremely knowledgable about the fishing and abundance of wildlife in Florida Keys but he also had a ton of respect for the habitat itself. His boat was extremely clean and his gear was very well-maintained. Captain Andrew also filleted my catches and gave me a filleting tutorial. Delicious dinner that evening!! I highly recommend Local Grown Charters and Captain Atwill if you're ever near Key Largo. If I ever return I'd love to go on a backcountry tarpon outing with him!”
